This is an excellent sharpener and very easy to use, as other reviews on the web say, 'it should last for years' However it is an aggressive sharpener if too much pressure is applied and it will take a lot of metal of the knife if you are not careful. The threads where the 2 pieces fasten together on mine were extremely tight and needed some grease on, hence the 4 stars not 5. Would recommend buying this sharpener to all.
