Exactly what I was looking for...at a reasonable price. - A Smurf - 28/10/2014
As an avid hiker and prepper, I am always on the lookout for the perfect gear. I wanted a small lightweight stove for my pack. I didn't want to have to carry fuel so a stove that burned wood was ideal. I had looked at the solo stove, but the price and design did not impress me. having to load it from the top using only tiny material was a huge flaw. Then I came upon this little guy. It is perfect. So simple yet so effective. Stores flat into a tiny package. Can hold the weight of any pot you can muster. The fuel is added via a small opening in the front so much larger wood can be used. Strong...well built...effective. Exactly what I was looking for.
What an amazing little stove. - Jan Wieck - 28/10/2014
What an amazing little stove. With a little "being prepared", one can cook using green wood. The preparation is that you have some aluminum foil or other means of snuffing out some of the remaining fire after you're done cooking. That will be the fistful of dry charcoal you need to reliably start the next fire. It also works extremely well as a wind screen and pot stand to use a little "soda-can" alcohol stove.
