The damascus fire striker (firesteel scraper) is a heat treated piece of Alabama Damascus that has been heat treated and tempered slightly for maximum hardness. It has been shaped to make it easy to use and to produce a spark easily.
The edge of this scraper is very hard, sharp and ready for action.
Because the metal is of superior hardness and durablity, the amount of sparks it produce is great.
Comes complite with genuine leather strap.
