Can't complain for the price but would pay more for better quality. - Ben - 08/06/2012
A pen with a decent built in torch seems like a really good idea, and the price is very reasonable. The thing itself is pretty well made, not too heavy like some other 'tactical' pens that are designed to work as kubatons. It has some issues though. There's no knurling near the tip of the pen where your fingers actually grip it, so if your hands are wet they'll slip on it. The LED light 'switch' relies on contact between the aluminium body and a tin ring in the battery compartment. The problem is that the contact area on the body oxidises forming a resistive layer, which you have to grind through by screwing and unscrewing the light-end to get it to work. The branding is also a little bit 'in your face' for me.
